Baby Showers!!
We have had some wonderful showers for baby Grant. Everyone has been so kind and generous, we are overwhelmed! The first shower was back home at my Mom and Dad's house with family and friends. It was so nice to see people I haven't seen in a long time, and nice to catch up with everyone. Of course my Mom put together a great spread of food. It was so beautiful, I had to have a picture next to it!

Dan's co-workers also had a nice baby shower for us. They had a potluck and showered us with all sorts of wonderful gifts! He's lucky to work with such a nice group of people. Of course, they are a creative bunch, so the décor was quite interesting.

See!? They put a lot of thought into making this baby shower so unique. Of course, they had to get big sister some things too! So I picked Sophie up from school a little early and brought her back to Dan's work so she could open her gifts. They even changed the sign on the white board for her. She felt so special and got to eat a lot of left over cookies!

My friends here in Orlando also had a shower for us. My friend Kate hosted at her place and it was a nice relaxing afternoon with more great food!

Of course my co-workers had a shower for me too! They surprised me on one of the days I was working and brought in some food and gifts and set it up in a patient room that wasn't being used at the time. These last two months at work have been pretty crazy, and I'm pretty sure that's an understatement. Needless to say, the day of the shower was no exception. They pulled me into the room, surprised me, and we all went back to work. Luckily we got to go and snack on food between patient tasks, so it was perfect! However, we didn't take pictures... They are a wonderful group of ladies to work with, and I'm so thankful for them!!
